Beads, lace, bling and a giveaway!

Is there anything lovelier in the craft room that running your hands through these as you ponder how to use them?

One of the designs for Issue 1 of Elefantz HOME  is "Believe"...
I had decided to do a step by step tutorial for the magazine so time was spent playing with all my pretty beads, laces, buttons, braid and trims - pretty pieces to adorn the second version of "Believe".
This is the first version...

 It is the 1st design in the "Affirmations" series of projects I'll be sharing each month in the magazine until December. Whilst making the second version of "Believe" I made the decision to giveaway the 1st one (pictured above)!
Would you like to win this handmade-by-me design?
All you need do is spread the word about my newsletter and Elefantz HOME magazine! Tell your friends, your guild, your blog followers, your sister - anyone who loves stitching! You can phone them, email, visit for a coffee, share it on your blog - share in the way that you love best.
When you have done that, just visit my Elefantz HOME webpage and leave a comment HERE.
You don't have to be a magazine subscriber to enter, so feel free to spread the word and leave an entry comment on THIS post for your chance to win "Believe". The giveaway is open worldwide, and the winner will be randomly drawn on July 1st.

This is the finished second version of "Believe". This is my keeper, the one that will hang in my own home to remind me always to believe....
I used a vintage earring instead of a mother-of-pearl button this time. This earring has sat in my 'bling' bowl for 4 years and I finally found the prettiest display for it. :-)
The pattern for "Believe" will also be available as a single pattern from June 29th in my Etsy Shop for $4 AU, but you can subscribe to Elefantz HOME for $4 AU per month (approx. $4.25 USD) and receive at least THREE patterns every month for the same price. I love a bargain, and I love being able to share one with you. :-)
The 2nd pattern in the June 29th issue of Elefantz HOME is Ellie...
She's not finished yet. I have been doing some extra bits of embroidery and working on the perfect setting for her. There is a possiblility you'll see more of Ellie in the coming issues, but Issue 1 is her debut and she is quite excited!
(For those who are not magazine subscribers, the single pattern for Ellie will also be available for $4 in my Etsy Shop from June 29th.)
~~~~~
It's colder still up here, so I am moving into slow cooked meals that warm the kitchen and assail the air with wonderful aromas promising a meal not be missed. Last night was Chicken Cacciatore with fresh egg pasta...
...and some Oaty Raisin cookies with coffee afterwards.
What are your favourite winter warmer meals? I'd love some ideas for using my crockpot - just need to dust it off from lack of use. ;-)
~~~~~
Did you know Miss Sophie can sleep sitting up?
Have a wonderfully blessed day!
Be sure to tell someone how much you love them.
Hugs
Jenny

PS: I have some Show & Tell photos from bloggers to share on Friday. If you've made one of my designs and want to share a photo please email it to me or leave a comment with a link to your blog post so we can all see. :-)

Your Believe is just stunning, both of them dear one - so very Jenny. All your "bling" is quite beautiful too! Your winter meals look good. My favorite is chili in the crock pot - but I make it the lazy way, lol - browned burger, salsa, kidney beans, and canned tomatoes. Add sour cream and shredded Mexican cheese in the bowl. We LOVE it this way and it's FAST.

Kiss little Sophie's head for me - she's such a dear!

Ellie is darling! I LOVE crock pot meals...however, I need a new crock pot. Why oh why can't I find a lime green one? Well I did but it was tiny.

Love "Believe" and your new newsletter. I've been sharing patterns with my nieces who are Mennonite and do not have internet, as well as my quilting friends. Your site is my favorite! Love your kitty too, My Toby is a rescue Snowshoe Siamese.
