Warm food for cool nights...

Is it just me, or do the winter months make you crave sweet, warm desserts too?
A taste-bud alluring photo caught my eye in the June issue of Australian Home Beautiful magazine recently,  so naturally I had to recreate the dish to satisfy my "winter-warming" dessert habit.
These are Stitcky Date Puddings, and they are made in a food processor before being baked as individual treats in muffin pans. It was one of the easiest recipes for Sticky Date Pudding I have ever made (and yes, I have become an expert at trying this recipe - yum, yum, yum doesn't quite express how much I love this dessert).
The sauce was a simple one-pot simmer, and flowed all gooey and sweet around the split mini-puddings...
...and of course what is a pudding without a dollop of thick fresh cream?
Now to admit to something really decadent. I am having this for breakfast today.
Can you blame me? :-)
I wonder what your favourite dessert is? Perhaps you have a few for different seasons?
