Sunday Scripture

This week's memory verse...

Isaiah 7:9b taken from the NIV Bible.

Have a blessed and refreshing Sunday,

  1. I love this verse! It reminds me of why it is so important to know what I believe and why I believe it. There is a saying that this verse reminds me of (or vice versa); 'if you do not stand for something, you will fall for anything'. Thank you for sharing. Also, I love your penmanship.

    1. Thanks for sharing that, Memma. How pertinent! :-)

  2. I am also a Christian! I love reading your blog - so great that we have in different parts of the world, but we are united by Christ! Blessings to you!

  3. Another good one, especially for the times in which we're living. But I suppose since Isaiah said that almost 3000 years ago, people were not much different then!

  4. Love that memory is all in the KJV and I must look that one up and see if it differs, otherwise after a lifetime it is a new favorite.

  5. Isaiah 7:9 (ESV)
9 If you are not firm in faith, you will not be firm at all.’”

I like this version as well.

  6. I glanced at this photo thinking you had a new stitchery design. (Which technically you do).

    Thanks for the reminder.

  7. Pásate por mi casita, porque me he acordado de ti y espero que aceptes este pequeño detalle de tu amiga Mª José.Besicos

  8. thanks for sharing this weeks verse. I have copied on to my desktop background so I will be memorizing verses with you. Thanks so much for inspiring me!

  9. Your topic is very interesting for me to learn and then could be a reference
I hope there is an update article, and I can subscribe via email

It's always nice to receive feedback on a blog post, so *thank you* for taking time to comment!
I will try to reply via email unless you are a 'no reply blogger' which means you'll have to check for my reply in the comments. Of course, life is a rather hazardous activity, isn't it? So if I don't respond to your comment that's the reason why - life simply stepped in...
