Download Block 3 of my slow stitched Promises project...

I last shared a new block in my slow stitched Promises of God Project around August last year, before I took an extended blogging break, and you've been patient in waiting for a new one, so today I'd love to share it with you.

I find myself drawn to this verse in Psalms quite regularly, as it seems to speak to me in many and varied situations, which does not surprise me as the Word of God is alive and living (Hebrews 4:12). And something wonderful about the living Word, is that Jesus is the Word (John 1:1), so of course it is alive and living. No wonder His Word speaks to us everytime we open a page and begin to read.

Life is filled with stormy seasons, and peaceful seasons, yet through all seasons, our God is with us, a very present help if we need it, and Someone to rejoice over us when unexpected blessings are revealed.

The last six weeks have been pretty stressful for our Blossom and her family. They have still not found a home to move in to after they leave their current one on January 27th, and they have only a few hours left before real estate rentals shut down over the Australia Day long weekend...but God only needs a few hours if His plan is to provide a home for them, and they have one last house to inspect today, their final chance before alternative plans are to be made.

Yet through all of this, Blossom has praised God, and often said, "And if not, He is still good." We have prayed together, shed some tears when it all got a bit much and the children were struggling (especially autistic Rafaella), and then we have sung to God, and felt our hearts enlarge with gratitude as Cully May hugged us tight to join our prayer, and 4yo Charlie David stood on a chair to raise his hands even higher in praise to God as he sang.

In a few hours I'll know what will happen, but regardless, God is good always, and we adore and serve Him with all our hearts. So should you, sweet sister in Christ. No matter what, no matter when, no matter how, HE IS GOOD. Fall into His arms and rest your weary heart, or stand up and sing praises to glorify Him...whatever you do, do it all to the glory of God.

I'll update you on their housing situation in the next blog post, but really appreciate your prayers for a home, and that the children are calm and mentally at peace as they progress through the coming days. Thank you. xxxx

“Heavenly Father, I lift Blossom, Ross, Cully May, Rafaela and Charlie David up to You. Please fill them with Your peace during this time of uncertainty. I pray You would open the door to the right home for them. Please settle them in the place You have reserved for their family. Help each of them not to be anxious, especially Rafaela. Please minister to her little heart and help her not to be fearful. Thank You that You have a plan and a purpose for all of this. Strengthen Blossom and Ross and draw them to Yourself. Thank you that we are able to “bear one another’s burdens and do fulfill the law of Christ”. We trust You, Lord, for we know that you are good. In Jesus’ name, amen.
**hugs**
