And what I made with it...

In yesterday's blog post I showed you the larger version of a new design for the April Stitchery Club patterns...

...and told you I'd be using it in a sweet project with lace and pockets.

Over the course of Monday afternoon I was able to bring an idea from my imagination into reality, and the final display was even prettier than I'd hoped!
Would you like to see my simple sewing caddy?

Last month Mr E bought me a sensible sewing chair as I spend many hours each day working on my designs. Shoulder, knee, and back pain tend to set in more often than not and he decided it was very important that I am comfortable as I work.
Aren't I blessed?!
So here is where I stitch in my new chair, and now I have a lovely new sewing caddy to lay over the arm...

But I can also lay my caddy flat on the coffee table beside me if I like...

It has four pockets and a pincushion...

Perfectly pretty, and very very useful...

I'm thinking of making another and doing a tutorial as it's fairly easy and would be lovely for yourself or as a gift.
Let me know in the comments if you'd like to see a tutorial for the caddy, ok?

No sewing today.
I'm late with writing the Stitchery Club patterns because I was naughty yesterday and got sidetracked with making my teapot house caddy.
Must stay on task today, though!
Might need to close my eyes as I walk past the fabric shelf...but oooohhh....

Hugs
