Sweet stuff!

Honestly, some of my friends are too clever for words! Like Helen, from Bustle & Sew.
She shared the MOST gorgeous springtime bunny wreath on her blog last week, and if you haven't visited Helen before, grab a coffee, a comfy chair, your laptop, and a spare hour or so. You'll be so inspired after your visit.
Check out her free pattern HERE.

If you've been a follower of my blog for a while you'll remember that my word for 2013 is 'adventure'.
Well, guess what my friend Allie found online for me?
A free BOM called ADVENTURE!
Blocks 1 and 2 are already up on Pretty P & Mama B Designs blog...
Visit their blog HERE to follow the BOM.
I have some beige linen patiently waiting for a purpose - I think I found it!

A quilt that has been on my to-do list for ages is this Granny Square Quilt by Jolene of Blue Elephant Stitches...

She has just shared the step by step tutorial at Moda Bake Shop!
You can make your own using her simple instructions HERE.

This week Mr E is away on a business trip, so my plan was to get some deep cleaning done. Even though we only moved into this house 7 weeks ago, things have accumulated, and dust has settled too comfortably.
Today I am going to work through the kitchen, and tomorrow I am going to use 29 steps from THIS guide from 'Time Warp Wife' to give our bedroom a deep clean...

I am also going to make some things for my linen cupboard, to help keep it organised and fresh.
Keep watching my blog because I'll share the ideas with you next week.

I used to keep laminated lists for deep cleaning each room in the house, but haven't used them for years. I might dig them out and get a regular routine happening.
Do you have cleaning lists too?

no, I don't have a routine but it does sound like a good idea. The 29 steps sounded like a whole lot! But they weren't too bad & seem do-able. Yes, let's get the lists out!

oh, and I meant to say I love the tutorial on the granny squares. I might try it if I can get the other 437 UFOs done!

I don't celebrate Easter or decorate for it, but Helen's bunny wreath is just too cute for words!!!! Yuck to cleaning, lol, I'm so lazy these days I don't think I'll get anything done until the weather warms up....too cold to even get out of bed.

Hiya Jenny. Hands up!! I used to be a bit of a clean freak and had to-do lists for every room in the house. I swear I was crazy!! When I started learning how to quilt, that was it.... the list kinda got lost somewhere. I still haven't found the list, but I figured that as long as I have clean plates to eat on, food on the plates and clean clothes to wear, well that was more important than a bit of dust everywhere. Besides, don't we breath dust? And me windows? Well, they do get cleaned.... when I really can't see through them :).
Hugs, Sue from Cyprus x x x
PS My motto is ..... that life really is too short to worry about dust bunnies.... besides, they blend in with the decor!!

I used to follow Flyladay and had lists back then. I probably should still be using them and might go back to them. I think in the long run it would save me some time as they were lists that helped you keep up on the deep cleaning if you followed them.
