A call to prayer...

My heart has been heavy lately, reading messages, comments or emails from beautiful women who are facing trials of many kinds, women who struggle to face each new day in fear of what may come next, women who are weary emotionally, physically and spiritually.

Battles are never fought alone so today I'm asking all praying readers to join with me in lifting these precious souls before Jesus in heartfelt prayer.

Perhaps you identify with the women I've described and are also in need of heavenly intervention.

Can I ask you to trust that over the next week your needs are being brought before the Cross as myself and others who are reading this blog post join hearts and prayers together across the world in every time zone for you?

You may not be a Christian believer and that's okay. All I ask is that you let us pray for you. That you allow our love for a fellow human being made in the image of God to be comforted, encouraged and lifted in prayer, that the peace of God which surpasses all understanding would fill your heart and mind through Jesus who loves you.

Before I had my first baby I was very shy (still am actually) and didn't like having doctors poking or prodding me, but the experience of giving birth kind of breaks down a lot of that because you are placed in a vulnerable situation and exposed in ways you've not known before.

If you've never been prayed for or never opened up about your deepest needs and trials then you may feel very exposed and vulnerable by choosing to do so now, but sweet girl, you are precious and though myself and those who will be praying may not personally be able to alleviate your struggles, there is One who can give peace within your soul and loves you more than you can comprehend.

If you have a prayer need please write in the comments below and we will pray.
In fact I will check in twice a day for the next week to pray over any new requests or needs, and I'd ask that others would do so as well.

If you feel you cannot write down what you need then simply say "I need prayer" because the Lord knows exactly what those needs are and we will pray He provides in the way that best suits your circumstances.

Sisters in Christ, will you stand with me in prayer this week?

To God be the glory, great things He has done.

hugs

Jenny, you have such a sweet spirit with all your blog posts. I am a Christian. The flesh is weak and the spirit has to battle through it. I say this because I am in PAIN. Pain that causes nausea and vomiting. I have scoliosis from birth and that is affecting my lower lumbar now at 67years. I have tried natural, herbals, massage therapy remedies which only help for maybe a day. I am in need of prayer for God to show me a solution that I am able to live with for the days he has assigned for me to live. MUCH THANKS!

Please pray for my 88-year-old mom who is becoming frail and who has lost most of her sight, so much so that she says everything is dark, even during the daylight. She does not want to live like this and wonders aloud why God has not yet taken her.
Thank you.

Thank you Jenny for praying! I'm one who's in the midst of hurricane Harvey. So many of us have lost so much! But thankfully most of it can be replaced or fixed. One thing that can't be taken from us is our faith in our good, good God and Savior Jesus Christ. I know He's going to bring a whole lot of good out of this heartbreaking tragedy! I know this because I've seen it many, many times! Goodness is part of His character and He's proven to me He's 100% trustworthy! So instead of becoming overwhelmed with fear, doubt and confusion, He has filled me with supernatural peace that passes all understanding! It's my priveledge to be praying for all you ladies! And I have plenty of time to enter His throne room in our time of need! God bless all of you!
BTW- my husband and I are high and dry for now. I think we've been spared so far so we can be a blessing to others! Looking forward to seeing how God will use us!!

I would dearly love some prayer this week, my mum passed away suddenly 4 weeks ago and just as they were moving into a retirement villa, we have just settled dad into it, but he is feeling lost without his life partner, also we have had our grandson staying with us because our daughter is in a domestic violence relationship and last week we had to hand him back so he is now going to another school and exposed to things a 6 year shouldnt be seeing, my husband and I are just so weary after a year of huge problems, so prayer would be gratefully received, thank you

Dear Jenny, thank you for thinking of this. It's a privilege to pray for others, and a service I am happy to give. There are so many people who need strength, shoring up of faith, comfort, and to feel the presence of the Lord. I have prayed for everyone here who asked, and for their specific needs. I don't know who they all are, I absolutely know that God knows. He has said that even the hairs on our head are numbered to him, and so I know he knows every person who has written of the anguish and pain in their lives, and the rest who haven't written, too. I am very blessed in so many ways, and my heart goes out to all those who are struggling with some hard thing right now. I wish I could impart a hug or hold the hand of every one. Thank you so much for sharing this thought with us. I'll be back to check the list every day, too, and pray blessings on you for your kind and loving heart.

Thank you for connecting us all. Thank you for your outreach. Thank you for this opportunity to bless others. Our God is such an awesome God!

Jenny Dear, you are such a blessing everyday to me and so many other people. I will definitely be praying for everyone who is asking. I would also ask that my name be included, my Husband is dealing with many painful health issues and he becomes very depressed. Plus, my Father is in Kidney failure and has a great deal of other health issues at the same time. Therefore, my whole family needs the strength of prayer and the guidance and love from the Lord. Thank you everyone!

Thank you Jenny. As you know, my husband had a hemorrhagic stroke. He is home, praise God! I believe with all my heart and all of my faith that he will be fully restored! Please pray for strength for my children and I to get through this time...each day is a day closer to his complete restoration.
I count it a privilege to pray for others who are struggling as well. Taking our eyes off of our problems to encourage others is a blessing indeed.

Be blessed!

Jenny I need prayer as well. As you know by now from my Facebook posts. I have stage 4 Metastatic Breast cancer that has metastasized to my left pelvic and hip bone areas. It is inoperable. I am taking oral chemo agents daily, injection monthly of another chemo agent. My treatments are in hopes to keep it from progressing and palliative care basically. I am allays at hospital having scans and tests and doctors appointments. It has not gotten worse in the past year since diagnosed. I pray all the time. My family prays for me as well. I just sent my baby girl off to university. She left a little over a week ago. I take care of my special needs adult son. Please all add me to your prayer lists. My family needs me. My mother needs me as she is 70 and I drive her to her appointments and stuff. My husband needs me to care for everything so he can work his 2 jobs to provide for us and pay all of our bills. My son will need me forever. And being selfish I want to be here to see my daughter graduate university and to see her married and one day with children of her own. I am in South Carolina, USA

I'm joining with these ladies in praying for all the needs mentioned. I will pray daily as well with and for all of you. God has blessed me in so many ways and I praise him daily. Ladies, I desire you prayers for my husband who battles depression and alcoholism. I have allowed bitterness into my heart for this terrible disease touches every aspect of a persons life and our marriage of 37 yrs. So that means I need prayer to be the wife God intends me to be. May God strengthen each of us and give us his peace while going through these times of turmoil. He will never leave nor forsake us.

Jenny, I love your blog & Instagram posts. You are a talented lady & I appreciate your pretty items you make. I also celebrate with you being a strong woman of faith. I recently lost my husband & it is hard to adjust to his not being here. He told me he loved me thousands of times in the last year but it would be so nice to hear it again today when I am feeling sorry for myself. I also found in the past week that I have heart issues, A- Fib, so prayers would be helpful. I send you sunny days as you head into spring, days to enjoy your creative talents!

Thank you for sharing your love of the Lord, keeping a beautiful uplifting website and freely giving designs and tips. I felt so joyful when I found your store on Craftsy and I am now filled with joy as I plan to make a wall hanging with the stitcheries.
I have only recently stated to learn patchwork; appliqué and machine embroidery. I have always worked by hand and in my spare time I have passed on the skills and thrifty way of managing a home to firstly my daughters in law, and now thanks to our Lord God my grand daughters.
The 10 year old and the 7 year old spend whole days with me in our craft room and I learn as much from them as they learn from me. But Zianna who is 10 said to me as we sat side by side how wonderful it was to sit down together all three of us working on a piece of craft and she said "it's like meditation, I can talk God and sit quietly and listen for Him".
She was so right because we sit together plan our crafts for the day and then sit together sometimes not talking for a long time but resting in the Lord.
I apologise for waffling I just wanted to explain why I am so grateful for your patterns and your website etc. I am 58, married for 40 years in October and I have stopped having surgeries and chemo and now I am content and feel a weight lifted. I also have MS so I find it difficult to walk and I have other problems. But they are so insignificant when I read your words, and incorporate your stitcheries in to my work. If you do have a prayer circle I would be grateful and I in return will pray for those who need uplifting and help. I apologise for any mistakes I have also lost the sight in my left eye.
Thank you, my prayers will be said for your readers and I am so pleased to have found your website.
May you rest peacefully in the Lord x
