~A Christmas Story~ Shabby Roses Quilt

After those few sneak peeks it is finally time to share with you my latest Shabby Roses styled quilt.
~A Christmas Story~
(if you click on the photos they will appear larger for closer perusal)

I have used Robyn Pandolph's sumptuous 'Roses de Noel' fabrics,  and as with most of my designs I have used a mix of applique and stitchery for the main blocks.
Here are some close-ups for you...
I chose to make a Christmas Quilt that whilst being lovely to look at, it also told the story of Christ's birth - the true meaning of Christmas.
The completed quilt is 35 x 45 inches.

I am wanting to be flexible in how you can purchase this pattern, so I have decided to offer 2 options.
(This quilt will only ever be available as a purchase. It will not be published in any magazines, and I will not be sharing it as a free project.)

Option 1: Complete PDF pattern emailed to you anywhere in the world.
$19.95 USD
Purchase the complete pdf pattern HERE in my Etsy Shop)

Option 2: is a pay-as-you-go Block of the Month.
This program will be offered over 5 months with 2 blocks available in May, June, July, August, and the final block and quilt instructions being available in September.
The first two blocks are available today, May 18th, and the next blocks will continue through the 18th of June, July, August & September.  This allows you time to make the quilt before Christmas. :-)

You can purchase May's blocks (Mary and Joy) HERE in my Etsy Shop for $4.95 USD.
June's blocks (Manger and Angel) HERE
and
July's blocks (Noel and Bethlehem) HERE.

If you purchase the pattern, or have decided to take advantage of the BOM option, I invite you also to join my ~A Christmas Story~ Yahoo group, where we can discuss the making of each block and share photos and links along the way. When you make your purchase I will email you an invite to the discussion group. I think it will be lovely to share the journey of this quilt with you! :-)

Hugs
Jenny

I can't wait!! I purchased 'A Christmas Story' last month at the Hobart Craft Fair and have been patiently waiting to finish a quilt I was already doing, which I did last night. So tomorrow I'm off to purchase some fabric. Soooooo excited, can't wait to start.
