Verse 9 of Give Thanks, and a special offer....

If you have followed my blog long enough you will realise how much I love flowers.
Every week or two I like to purchase a bunch of roses for the dining room table. They are not expensive roses, just $1 each, but they look so beautiful on my table.
With each new bunch appearing at the table I tell Mr E, "Thank you for buying me roses, honey..."
He laughs. He works to pay for my roses so I do give him all the credit. :-)
This month's "Give Thanks" block is a celebration of the garden because it is a place where many of us find peace, and where we delight in beauty...

Isn't it pretty?
You can download 'For The Garden' HERE.
This is the 9th block in the series. Have you made them all so far?
If you've missed any blocks you will find the download list on my sidebar.
I am thinking of restitching all of them to make a quilt, but I may wait until I've shared all twelve verse blocks before I do.
~~~~~
Daisies. Oh, I do like daisies. My favourite line from the movie, "You've Got Mail" is,
"Don't you think daisies are the friendliest flowers?"
And I always call out YES!
From today until Monday I have a special offer on two of my Dilly Dally Daisy designs!
"Flourish"...
...and "Bloom"!
"Flourish" is a framed stitchery, and the instructions to cover the frame with fabric are included with the stitchery design.
"Bloom" is a wallhanging, and the instructions to complete the project are included with the stitchery design.
Both design patterns for $4, just $2 each, and only till Monday.
~~~~~
It is Father's Day here in Australia this Sunday, so hopefully I'll have some photos to share on Monday. Kezzie has designed and made something special for Mr E and I can't wait to show you, and Blossom has gotten him something for his other bike that he's keen to try out. Should be a wonderful day. :-)
Enjoy your weekend, and be sure to hug your dads and tell them how much you love them - even if it's not Father's Day where you are.
Hugs
Jenny

Mr. Creations grew the most gorgeous roses while we lived in California. He provided the roses from his yard for my bridal shower flower arrangements! :o) His favorite rose is Peace.

Love the new Give Thanks block! My plan from the start was to stitch them up and make them into a quilt! Guess I'd better get started on that! LOL

Love the roses and the new Give Thanks block, too!
I like the idea of a quilt, what a way to uplift one's spirit! Glad your migraine has lifted, I had them all last week, I think it was Hurricane Irene stirring things up here. Have a great weekend everyone!

HI Jenny! Your "Give Thanks" series is spot on with sentiments. How about Acts 17:26b? "...and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live." Makes me think of Kezzie and family being exactly where they're supposed to be now. I'm so happy for you to have your dear family close by you. I hope that for myself someday which is why that verse means so much to me now. Bless you all, and specifically you, Jenny, for the beautiful work of your hands - stitchery and food! - that are a blessing to many others.

Ooh Jenny your roses are lovely! I adore your Give Thanks - I will have to make that for Shirley. She has a very small garden but it's prolific. Thank you sweetheart! I was thinking of doing the verses in a small quilt too - I love them each so much, I'd like to look at them all at once. Love your daisies - they really are a friendly flower! Happy Father's Day to Mr. Elefantz, he is a very blessed man to have such a wonderful wife and family!

I have been doing the Give Thanks blocks for my niece. Tonight I got an email from her Mom saying how much she liked the daisy one...before I had even seen it!
It is a sweet one. I am going to enjoy doing it.

Hi Jenny, Your new verse is really cute. Thank you. I love our garden so much so it couldn't be better. It is Autumn now and the colours will slowly change.

Love verse 9. I am giving them to my sister and she says you have to keep making more than 12 because she loves getting them from me each month. I am working on friends and spring. I have finished all the others.
