How are you going with your weekly Monograms?
Do you think of special words as you stitch? I do.
*L* is for love, life, licking ice-cream, lemonade (the real stuff), Lola (my car) and lazy afternoons.
I stitched L onto my Sampler today...
For the past few weeks I've also stitched the monogram onto an extra
project to give you ideas on how to use them, but today I was busy doing
something else so only the Sampler was stitched.
You can download L HERE.
The other project I was busy stitching today is the free design I am sharing with you on Friday.
Here's a little sneak peek...
Remember when I stitched my J and displayed inside a mini ribbon-wrapped hoop?
A commenter asked what the back looked like.
Here it is...
I trimmed the excess away, but used hot glue to secure the flap under the opening in the outer hoop.
Mr E is away again, but he gave me a gift before he left...
I have had my big heavy station wagon, Lola, since 2005, and it has taken our family all over Australia (and back!) during that time.
But now the kids have grown up, and there's only Mr E and I really...so my wonderfully dependable and loyal Lola, is being sold.
On Saturday my beloved bought me a new-used-car, and it's the very car I have swooned over since 2007.
Her name is Daisy.
We are getting acquainted and it looks like it might be love. Hey, that's an L word...
Hugs
Jenny

Hi Sweet Jenny! Thanks you so much for another gorgeous monogram pattern!!! And oh my gosh, I do love "Daisy". Mitsubishi has long been one of my favorites, especially their sporty models. Love the color too. Enjoy my dear friend, you truly deserve it! Big Big Hugs...
Lovely "L". I drove my Marshmallow Van for 16 years. Why Marshmallow? Because it was very white. My kids grew up with that van but now I have a sweet little silver girl. Have fun Driving Miss Daisy!
Thank you Jenny for the Monogram letters. L is definitely for lovely!

Thank you for these lovely patterns. This will make a lovely wall hanging when done. Curious ... the "K" really looks like an "R". Should it not be open at the top?

Jenny,
I got a kick out of your new yellow car because my name is Daisy too. My Mom had 3 Daisy buttons on her wedding suit and a daisy corsage so I guess she just had to call me Daisy. Love your embroidery. Daisy
I love your car! Enjoy.

certainly like your web site but you have to test the spelling on
quite a few of your posts. Several of them are rife with spelling problems and I
to find it very troublesome to inform the reality
nevertheless I'll definitely come back again.

Now isn't she just gorgeous! ;)
Daisy days, oopsie daisies, miss daisy... such a bright colour. Bazinga!
Those bunny pincushions are so cute! Had to say something.
Much love xx
My last car was a bright yellow Saturn SC Coupe. I adored that car! My DD called it the Yellow Canary so she became my Goldfinch. I've been kept so busy doing mending for DD that I haven't been able to even START on the alphabet letters yet :(. But I will SOON.
Have a blessed weekend!
