The rainforest...

Last weekend Mr E and I packed fruit, water, hiking shoes and cameras into the Jeep because we were heading north into the rainforest for an afternoon of exquisite and unique beauty.

If you have never been inside a rainforest I can tell you it is incredibly lush, green, unique and peaceful; a place where thoughts drift away and the mind and body naturally rest.

Enjoy some of the photos I took during our Sunday wander, and maybe let your shoulders relax as you imagine yourself there...

Hi Jenny, I enjoy all of your emails. I found the fabric Sophie by Chez Moi on Etsy if you wanted to buy more. Thank you for all of your beautiful work. Carole Crane

I love the color of that water. There's a place in Arizona, Fossil Creek, where the water collects in a pool and it's that color. Such pretty pictures, Jenny. Thanks for sharing your peace.

Reminds me of the rainforest I went on a horseback ride through in Glacier National Park - amazing to have glaciers in the same area as a rainforest but it was beautiful.

Such beaty Jenny. The first photo surprised me though, tarmac was the last thing I expected to see in a rainforest! I guess there has to be some access but I had just never really thought about it :-)
