"Promises and Borders" Block 3....

Thank you to all the lovely people who have left a comment, or taken the time to email me, about my "Promises and Borders" BOM! I'm so happy you are enjoying the blocks so far, but you have all told me how anxious you are to see Block 3.
Your wait is over! But before that...
This week was a huge one with family visiting on Monday and Tuesday...
 ...plus the magazine publishing date on Wednesday, followed by pattern writing and posting projects to a few Australian paper craft magazines on Thursday! Once that was all done I got sidetracked with an unusually 'mild' day in the tropics on Friday and took the opportunity to finally sort out my sewing room (I haven't been happy with the layout since we moved here in January)...
SO - I was running behind on the final stitches for the "Promises and Borders" March block and wondered if I'd be late getting it to you, BUT, I have spent much of today finishing the wording, adding the borders, and I can happily say "here it is!"

You can download Block 3 HERE.

On the subject of downloading my free designs...
It seems no matter if I use Google Docs, 4 Shared, or Scribd, there are always going to be some people who have trouble downloading. I am having the same problem with my monthly magazine.
Ever-my-help, Mr E did an experiment last night and tried downloading all my recent free designs, as well as the latest issue of my magazine.
He found that no matter what he did, he was unable to save the files when using Internet Explorer as the web browser - however, he had no problems when using Firefox, Waterfox, or Google Chrome as the browser. One of my magazine subscribers stumbled on this solution, so Mr E checked it out.
Not sure if that is going to help all of you who hit snags with the download or saving the pdf, but it may help some.
The only other thing that can help is for you to update Adobe Reader. You can do that HERE.
If you are still stuck after trying these solutions, you can contact me and I'll email the block to you.
~~~~~
I did take an hour out of my day, after driving Blossom to work, to drop by the local Endeavour Op Shop yesterday morning. I found a very pretty crocheted blanket - perfect for winter...
...and this little basket...
...which now holds the fabrics and pretties I received for my birthday.
~~~~~
Have a great weekend!
Mr E and I are riding with the Ulysses to Lucinda tomorrow for lunch. Can't wait!
Hugs
Jenny

Thank you for the new block Jenny. I haven't sewn any of them yet. I have transferred them to fabric and have put them away to do while I am on holiday next month. I have been tempted at times but have so far resisted. Vicki

Jenny your sewing room looks very tidy. The visit to the op shop was well worthwhile too.
It is so good to have the family time as well.

Hi Jenny, I am a friend of Dawn of Sweet as Cinnamon, and have seen some of your beautiful stitcheries on your quilts. I would like to be a part of the Promises and Borders BOM, but I am not sure what I have to do. Would you please let me know which Post etc., you explain about it? I can only have my hubbies laptop for a few moments as ours is broken - so I have to hand it back to him now. Hugs n Blessings from Sue

Loving your next block!!! It's gorgeous!!! ... Your latest buys are very nice too - what a great basket! ... Also, I have always used Apple Macs, and Internet Explorer, and haven't ever had any problems downloading any of your patters ... Only when my wireless was down to dialup speed, and even then it just too a lot longer to download. Just letting you know! ... Also, loved your latest issue ... some gorgeous patterns in there, and always love reading your 'articles'!!! Hugs!!

Thank you so much for this bom. I am loving the scripture verses and the beautiful border designs. I just finished block 2 last night so I was very ready for number three. Thanks again for giving of yourself to people you'll never meet. May God bless you and your family.

I am excited about the beautiful blocks you are designing. I have not had trouble downloading and I am working on block 2 right now. I will share them with you as soon as I can. Have a lovely weekend. I just rearranged a few things in my sewing room also, it makes it so much easier to work in.

Hi Jenny,
I still have not received my monthky publication. I did check my spam settings and they are fine, not sure what else it could be. I am so sorry for the problem, hugs!!

Thanks for Block 3--another one of my favourite verses. I am still finishing up block 1 (I haven't done any stitchery for almost 30 years so feel like I am learning all over). I am having trouble with the satin stitch on the beak. Any suggestions?

Thank you for the third block. It's a wonderful verse. I love your finds at the op shop. I never find anything that great here!

Hi Jenny, what lovely finds at the op shop! I'm afraid we don't have any op-shops over here, so I can't go searching for great buys. Thank you for the March block. I haven't started this BOM yet because I really want try and finish off things from my unfinished projects... but I will do so very shortly. I am still working on my Give Thanks project (making two, one for a friend!) and loving it. Always good to see family photos and your sewing room really looks tidy.

Thank you so much for Block 3, which I am now working on. One and two safely stashed away! I am experiencing no problems in downloading the blocks.
Love the pretty pastel blanket you found at the Op Shop; they can have some wonderful treasures!

Hello, Jenny!

Inspired by your work, I'm trying to sew some things. Once they are sewn together, put on my blog. How not mastered the English language can not understand the meaning of "BOM". Could you enlighten me?
Congratulations for the beautiful work and thanks for sharing here.

Hi Jenny
I love these scripture blocks. Can I please ask what line of fabric you are using for sashing , etc?
Thank you for sharing your talent. I wish I could buy the pattern KITCHEN PRAYER by itself. Would you sell just that pattern?

Jenny,
I would like to participate in your 2012 BOM project. I had one question - am I allowed to machine stitch the designs instead of hand stitching them.
