Hello everyone, it's Blossom. :)
Mum's been busy packing today but i decided to take a break and make you a tutorial for the notebook cover i made yesterday.
Hopefully you'll be able to understand it as my brain is all over the place today and i can't seem to think straight. What a bother. :P
I also like to use friendly faces so i hope they don't annoy you. :)

Notebook Cover Tutorial
The first step is to pick two corresponding fabrics. If you have a stash like mum it can be a bit hard to choose.
I've picked two pretty blues from the birdie range.
Next up you have to measure your notebook.
This one is 4.5" long and 3" wide. To cover the whole thing, that's 9" x 3".
Adding in the seams, i cut two 3.5" x 9.5" rectangles. One from the lining and one from the cover fabric.
The next step is to cut two 3.5" x 6.5" pieces from the cover fabric.
The 4 pieces is all you need. :)
Now take the two 3.5" x 6.5" pieces of the cover fabric and fold them in half, ironing them flat.
Next up we lay the folded pieces on top of the lining fabric with folded sides in and then put the last cover piece right side down on the top.
Sew a quarter inch seam all around...
Leaving a gap to turn it inside out.
Iron it flat, stitch up the side, slide your notebook into the sleeves and voila!
But wait... did you prefer the lining fabric?
That's okay, turn the sleeves around to the opposite side and there's a different cover! :)
Hope that made sense. :)
Mum's calling lunchtime. I'll be off to get a sandwich and fill my stomach. Boy, that was hard work! :D
Bye all,
Blossom
