It was always my intention to make a label for my ~Bouquet~ quilt, but as months passed I simply never got around to it.
I finished the quilt last December, ready to begin sharing the blocks with you in January, then life got in the way and the label idea was pushed aside. Until today. I drew it up and stitched it this afternoon...
Tonight I'll add some binding before sewing it to the back of ~Bouquet~. Can you hear my great sigh of relief? It's a nice long, satisfied, sigh. :-)

I think that could be a lot of fun!! I have a budgie pattern somewhere....
Will try and find that Homespun mag.
You have found some really cute bird patterns. I think this idea is great and I am looking forward to being part of it. PS thanks for dropping by my blog - I'm really enjoying Daisy Do and am working on Block 2 tonight
Your label is lovely Jen :) hugs Vicki xoxox
Delicious little birdswith great easy to understand tutorials . Thanks for the sites.
Congratulations on getting your label done. I'm very bad at that. I have an old bird cage filled with fabric birds. Love the spool sewing pattern (easy to make).
Congrats on the label! Many of us can identify how nice it is to be able to add that last piece - and the relief that follows. Thanks for sharing it (cool label)!
Hi Jenny,
I made a Spool Bird. Now I'd like to make some other.
Very nice your label. You should use this label for all your quilts.

Love the label. Think the brids are so cute.
What a sweet, sweet label, Jenny! Would you be willing to publish an alphabet sheet so we can make our own label for Bouquet, but keep it in the 'font' of the rest of the project?
OH! And thanks a million for the bird links. I love all of them - and have absolutely NO need for them... so of course they'll go straight to the top of my To Do list!!
But wait! there's more!
Connecting Threads has a bird patttern in their free patterns section:
Partridge and a Pear
Love the label dear Jenny, thank you! Oh I wish I had time to join your challenge - these birds are too darling!
The label is lovely - I always do such plain ones so this is a great idea..... I just want to make ALL those birds......

thanks for being part of your challenge!
I'd love to join in and play but that's the last weekend before DH heads off on a business trip to South America for three weeks, so I think we'll be rather busy. I might well make some birds whilst he's away though; I'm going to be looking for plenty of things to do so that I can make the time pass by quickly.
could you give me your e-mail so I can send to you the photos of my birdcage
thanks a lot!
