Final GIVE THANKS verse....

I hope you have enjoyed stitching my little Give Thanks verses this year?
I wonder if you made them to display on the Give Thanks hanger I shared in January, or did you use them in a different way?
Leave a comment if you've made any or all the verses and tell me how you used them. I'd love to know!
Now, to the final verse...
"for Christmas"
May we all remember to give thanks for the precious gift of Jesus this Christmas.
You can download the final verse HERE.
The hanger pattern and all the verse links will stay up on my blog until January 1st, so be sure to download them while you have time. You'll find them listed over to the left in the sidebar.

In my sewing room tonight I have some finishes to attend to.
My remake of the Shabby Roses quilt has just returned from dear Dawn who did the beautiful stipple quilting for me; now I just have to hand quilt around the appliqued blocks and add the binding. I'm so pleased with how this version has turned out and cannot wait to finish it and show you!
I also have some quilting to do on a special swap gift with Wendy. Both of us loved a particular pattern in last year's Christmas Issue of Creating Country Threads, so we decided then and there to make one for each other this Christmas. Twelve months on and the big swap is only days away from happening - but we're still making them so we'd best hurry up don't you think!?
Also on my sewing table is the affirmation design for Issue 7 of Elefantz HOME
OOooooo, it's so pretty!! , but I can only show you a peek as I have more to do yet.
At my feet is Bob-the-dog, freshly clipped to manage the very hot weather and high humidity. Honest, the best thing to do is stay inside with the air-con and sew.
If Bob had fingers he'd sew too. Maybe.
Hugs
Jenny

I've got all the give thanks verses in my Christmas folder (ready to start work in January...). Isn't it just amazing to realise that we have been putting of getting our dog to the groomer because of the COLD,WET and DARK weather here? I've skyped with my dear friend on vacation in The Gambia....it is hot there too...I can't wait for summer to cross over to this side of the world! Enjoy the sunshine for me please!

Thanks, Jenny. I have not made these, yet, but I do get to everything, eventually. I feel as though I never stop, yet I can't keep up!! While I travel, I am working on a stitchery BOM that was released in 2009!! I have a special person to make your Give Thanks project for, and look forward to finally putting it together. ~karen

Oh, I am so sad that it is the last one.
As you know I have been making them and sending them to my sister each month. She has enjoyed getting a little gift each month.
I still have a few to do and send her because I did not start doing it until this past June. So it will go on a little longer for me.
Thanks for sharing the patterns. I always enjoy working them.

This is just a general comment to all you give us. You give us so much in terms of physical gifts with your freebies, but what has blessed, challenged, encouraged me since I read your blogs is your FAITH and LOVE for your family!!! You've shared and continue to share what's on your heart and it has really touched me! I'm new to you this year and I always know when I read your blogs, that I will be touched by Jesus in some way. I wish we could meet for tea/coffee but I live way over in Canada! Thank you from the bottom of my heart and GOD BLESS YOU ABUNDANTLY!!

LOVE the Give Thanks verse Jenny, so lovely!!! I need to make the rest, I've made the first two and have them both hanging with the big piece. I love them so much. I had set aside enough fabric to do the rest, just need to get busy!

Your new Shabby Roses looks so lovely, as well as your new designs! And Bob looks very handsome with his new "do". I'm sure he'll be a lot more comfortable! I hope you're feeling better tonight, sweetheart! Wait, it's tonight here...not there...how about I hope you feel better this morning!

Hi Jenny - Thank you for the last Give Thanks verse pattern. You are always so generous and the verses are all lovely.
I made the hanger in January and have finished 7 of the verse. I use it all in my sewing room and then change once a month.
Merry Christmas to you.

Jenny, Thank you so much for all of the Give Thanks verses. I have a few to finish up and the storage bag to make...but I'm thinking a quilt with them will be wonderful too and can't wait to see what you decide to do. I also can't wait to see your newest Shabby Roses quilt. I love the fabrics I used for mine but I really hope to get a brighter version going one of these days. I'm still working on my first one though, LOL. Oh Jenny there are so many lovelies in the new magazine I can hardly wait to see them and to read every page!!! Thank you so much for all your hard work. With my grandson here we are busy, busy so in case I don't get back to you before, I hope you have a wonderful and blessed Christmas. God Bless and Keep...
