Back home again...

I'm home.
Refreshed, and pondering the things the Lord shared with me over the past few days.
Time away with Him was exactly what I needed.

I made sure to enjoy the greenery that surrounded my little cottage...

...had some lovely long walks along the very wet and windy beach...
...ate very healthy...

...and stitched to the glory of God.

I enjoyed the drive, both there and back, and the freedom to walk, think, sleep, sew and read at my leisure.
It was an adventure to be sure, but one with a purpose.
The Lord provided the answers I needed, and in the process graciously lifted a burden from my heart.

I was reminded over and again that His promises are true and eternal, so the first thing I did when I got home was to make up my Promises & Borders BOM quilt  from last year as one large free pattern download for those who haven't seen it, or made it, but would like to.

If you stitch one block, or the entire quilt, you'll be stitching His perfect promises not just into fabric, but into your heart.
There are 10 embroidered blocks with 9 Bible promises in this quilt pattern.
You can download the full quilt with all blocks in one PDF file for free HERE.

Tomorrow I'll have another special Bible stitchery to share with you, but for now I am going to prepare a meal with love for my precious husband.
hugs

I think your trip has encouraged us all as women to stop, be still and listen to what God has for us in this busy, crazy world we live in! To also know we can give God the Glory through our talent that He has given us!
As a Christ follower I use my talent as a way to get to know others all over the world and to love on them and encourage them with God's love! I see you doing the same and this Blesses my heart! Thank you Jenny, new contact and Sister!!! Miss Paula in Stitches

You are a blessing from God. You show that God still shows us, in the quiet times, what we need to hear. Thank you for taking the time to consult God in a major way.

Continue to follow His leading and know you have friends all over the world who love you.

I love that the beach was practically deserted. It sounds like this was just the time you needed.

So glad your time away with God has refreshed you anew! It is so important that we take time to shut ourselves in with God sometimes so that we can hear clearly what He is saying to us...and so we can just bask in His presence without the everyday life moments interrupting our time with Him...glad you are back and looking forward to future posts.

I am so glad your trip was an answer to prayer. You are such a blessing!

I would love to take a trip away from it all to spend time with the Lord meditating on His word and to hear His still small voice.

Keep the faith!
