There is a change a'comin'...

The December issue of Elefantz Home has now been emailed to all subscribers. On a wing and a prayer this was, thanks to the help of my trusted proof readers and daughter Kezzie. xxx

It is also available HERE as a single purchase.

As a Christmas gift from me to you, this issue is priced lower than usual at just $6 USD, and contains 7 projects. xx

This is only a short blog post, as I still need a few more days break to get things sorted out for our impending house move on December 16th.

It seems we're not leaving Townsville after all - Mr E and I made an 11th hour decision to stay here for another year. Blossom will be again be living with us for this next year and is thrilled to have her own little granny flat under our new rental. Good news all round.

In this new issue of Elefantz Home I've put my heart on the line sharing personal reasons for the new direction my magazine and designs will head in 2014. These last twelve months have seen some of the hardest times my family has had to face, and the weight of that has taken its toll.
I've prayed a lot, and I've searched my soul.
I think next year you will see the true depth of who I am as a woman, wife, mother, nana, and friend - as well as designer.
I pray next year brings me back to my roots; my home. I pray I bless you along the way.

Today Blossom and I had an early morning breakfast at a cafe in the city, and reminded ourselves what was most important in life. God, family, friends, joy, love. She is a blessing.

The coffee was good too.

See you next week,
Jenny

all the best with the move Jenny, glad to read you are not moving away as originally planned, good to have Blossom with you again. Needless to say you are being kept in my prayers. Very moving letter at the beginning of the ezine, have not looked at the rest yet, wanted to let you know you are in my thoughts.

I wish you all the best Jenny. As you always do, just trust God's plan for you and then everything will move smoothly.

The breakfast looks so yummy, I may have to go make some similar, even though it's actually early afternoon here! With not moving to another town, does that mean you are staying in exactly the same house, or you still have to move to another house there? I hope you aren't moving at all - save the stress.

Looking forward to 2014 - you have some exciting ideas and your plans sound very doable. Continuing to pray for a smooth, uneventful move. Glad to hear your daughter is staying close. It must be difficult to let them spread their wings and still be there when they return. Not in that stage of life yet. God bless you and your family. You are a brave, courageous woman - you may not see it, but I can tell you that I see it daily. Love'n'hugs.

I am so pleased you still will have Blossom near you. I hope your move goes smoothly - even so, a move is a lot of work, so take care. Hugs!

Jenny you have blessed me so much this year, not just through your designs but also through your determination to be the woman God wants you to be. I know you will love having Blossom so close and the thought of not having to box up and move again has to be a relief. May God bless you with His peace in all your decisions and with great joy in all that you do. blessings, marlene
