Sunshine and planning...

Though our winter days in the tropics are glorious, there is a decided chill in the air at morn's first light.
Yesterday, with our street still quiet and most residents not yet roused, I sat out on the front steps to warm myself as the sun rose over our house; and a little fellow decided he'd keep me company...

Bob-the-dog rolled around by my side...

...then headed down under the carport to chew the remains of a lamb bone.

I had my camera on standby, hoping to see some Rainbow Lorikeets in the fruity chandeliers that hang from our palm trees, but none came visiting...

Afterwards I realised that with the fruit not yet red and ripe it will be another couple of weeks before their loud screech will be heard outside the bedroom window...

The familiar footsteps of Mr E echoed from inside, so with Bob-the-dog in tow I turned my thoughts to breakfast, and planning the day ahead...

I'm rather rapt in a surprise gift that Heather left on my porch the other night and wonder if this pretty creature may find it's way into a design. You just never know what ideas may take form on Mondays...

Have a lovely week...

hugs

Jenny I love the birds on the blue & mustard material. So pretty. Also the surprise is just gorgeous & asking to be immortalised in material design. hugs Sandra P

What a cute gift...and what glorious winter weather you have. Come to Northern Ohio in the winter and you will appreciate yours even more.
