Hope and Miracles...

Everyone needs to be encouraged, inspired, or lifted in spirit at some time in their life.

My day-to-day 'uniform' working from home is a pair of comfy old jeans and one of many t-shirts with an affirming message printed across the front. I look for t-shirts like them when I'm out shopping because there are many days when the weight of life pushes motivation, hope or self esteem out of my thoughts and these words of life are like a switch to remind me of what is true, what is good, what is right, and what can honestly be relied upon.

Next month in the Stitchery Club all six patterns will be an inspiration to you, me, and those who receive these designs stitched just for them.

Two are complete now so I thought I'd show you how my God-given creativity is flowing with September's "Inspire" theme.

"miracles happen"

 "hope with your whole heart"

I also thought that I'd let this "inspire" theme run through the blog during September, so pray for me as I plan that, okay?
And in case you need a little lift today, honey, let me tell you something...

You are beautiful just as you are, and you have a very unique God-given purpose in this life that makes you incredibly special because no-one can take your place. Hug yourself, say out loud "I am beautiful, unique, loved, and made for a special purpose by Holy hands"....

hugs

I look forward to seeing you wonderful affirming designs for the month. That bird is just heart-cuddly cute, and I love the little heart hanging off the M in Miracle. Miracles DO happen, every day. We only have to open our eyes to see them everywhere! The Hope stitchery is a perfect gift for practically anyone. Who can't use a reminder about hope? Thanks for being such a positive influence on my world, and the world at large.

Hi Jenny, I'm going to second what a lot of your comments are saying. I love the Miracles Happen, when I saw that it just spoke to me and it's so pretty. I have a daughter with a serious chronic illness and I will be making that for both of us. When you feel down or just need a little boost go back and read some of the comments from your readers and fans. You have such a beautiful soul and spirit and it comes thru in your work and pictures of your family and home. You are such a blessing to all of us. Have a great day! Hugs,

Jenny I love these. I was wondering what I could stitch and send to two of me friends that really need encouragement. These will be perfect and I feel God inspired you to do these for us to make and encourage others. I love you!

You are such a blessing to so many! Every day you encourage us with your beautiful handwork, patterns and the way you live your life - it comes through to all of us! At my little quilt guild meeting on Monday another lady and I were talking about how much we love your blog and your patterns!!! We need a miracle here in the state of Washington - it seems as though we are on fire up here in the Pacific Northwest - not just us but neighboring states as well. I am blessed to only have to deal with smoke, but where the fires are burning, today they expect winds up to 50 MPH (a little less than 100 KPH) and where they are supposed to get rain, they will get lightning which will set off more fires!. Thank you for reminding me that miracles DO happen on a daily basis!

Jenny, your inspirational stitches are beautiful! It is wonderful how you encourage and give strength to yourself and others through your stitches and words! I wrote this verse out to share with you yesterday, but life got in the way in a good way.

Romans 1:17 King James Version

For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Continue to rely on the Lord to guide you; setting your goals, designing your patterns and providing a wonderful home. Thank you for sharing and have a wonderful creative day!

Dearest Jenny,
I KNOW miracles happen. Abba has performed many on me. One of the most fantastic was curing me of MS. There is no cure for MS. I had it. I had the MRI results that had diagnosed me. For 18 years I lived with it and my health deteriorated horribly. I eventually had no feeling in my legs or feet because of nerve damage. Then in 2004 Abba saw for some reason to cure me of the MS. Subsequent MRI's showed absolutely no indication of any MS at all in my body. The only way that could have happened is by a miracle. Yes miracles happen. That is only one that Abba has done for me, but it is the most dramatic, though I feel any miracle is dramatic. People think that miracles stopped when Jesus left this earth to go be with His heavenly Father. They couldn't be more wrong. They are still going on daily around us everywhere. We just have to pause, slow down and look for them.
