No fear...

When trials and uncertainties fall upon our lives it's easy to forget we're not walking alone.
Psalm 23 has been a source of great comfort, strength and assurance for me recently, but also a reminder that I never walk alone. In whatever circumstance of life I find myself to be, HE is there. Once I allowed this truth to wash over my mind and to stir my heart, His peace that surpasses all understanding pushed aside all every fear and concern.

Have you been walking a path of fear and uncertainty, too?
My friend, HE is there with you.
Fear not, He is right beside you and will not walk away.
Trust His Word, and rest in it...let His peace flow over you.

"The Lord is my Shepherd,
I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures;
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul;
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For thou art with me;
Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me."
 (Psalm 23:1-4)

This is my favorite Psalm. The only Psalm I can say memory from the beginning to the end. So many times I have fear of many things. The more years , more fears I have. "Thy rod and Thy staff comfort me They", is increasingly important for me.
Thank you . God Bless you.

Oh my goodness Jenny, sometimes I just know that from across all of these miles and having never actually spoken a word to one another, you post these superb scriptures at such a perfect moment. It is undeniably from our Heavenly Father and our walks with him. Thank You so very much for posting this most treasured message! My prayers continue for you and your family everyday!

The Kevin Barksdale above is my husbands name. I did not catch it...sorry. That is an awful picture of me (except the happiness part) but that is what hubby loves about it. Sorry about that though. Have a fantastic creative day Jenny!

Our Relief Society lesson today was on the topic of not fearing, with multiple scriptural quotations. This is one of my favorites, too! It's so easy to forget that we don't need to be afraid of anything because He is always with us. We all have trials and tribulations, no one can NOT have them, it's how we learn so many things. He never leaves us alone in them. I'm trying to learn to pray for faith and strength rather than the cessation of the trials! =) Thanks for this, beautiful background picture, too.
