What do YOU like?

I often wonder what things catch your eye and make you want to stitch them. So today, I thought I'd ask.

If you could send me a personal order for a design, what would it be?

Please leave your answer in the comments - I am seriously interested to know what sort of designs you'd like to see emerging from the often crazy, but always creative, Jenny of Elefantz mind.

At the moment I am working on projects for the "Girls, Girls, Girls!" issue of my e-zine. This issue will be focused on four age groups - babies, little girls, teens, and women.

I wonder if you can guess which age group this project will be for?

I might just head off into the sewing room and finish it this morning.
Have a blessed and bubbly day!
Jenny

I love all your designs, but I especially love the faith-based and holiday-inspired ones! A few vintage motifs would be nice, too! One of these days I'll actually get around to stitching one of your many patterns saved on my computer. Time is always a struggle with a little one in the house :)

Heidi beat me to it! I thought of vintage designs too.

I'm a sucker for tree and leaf designs, so I'd love to see more of those. Vintage is great too!

With three boys I am always on the lookout for male oriented projects, so vintage transport or toys would be my response to your question.

Everything you do is wonderful. I'm especiall fond of your roses and trees. The little heart with bluebirds and ribbon at the bottom of your photo teaser is lovely and I'd request some small little designs. Just the right size for me to use in a tiny scissors fob or wee little pin cushion. I appreciate your talent and love all that you create!
Hugs,
Kathy

I have loved all of your designs. The ones I am most likely to stitch are holiday themed - it seems like I make time to stitch for gifts more than for myself. I'd love to see some snowy designs - because where I live it snows A LOT at Christmas time. I wonder how you would interpret those since you might not have experienced a blizzard before? Thanks so much for posting every day! It gives me something to look forward to with my morning coffee :)

I love flowers and you've mastered the flowers for sure - love everything you create & wish I had more time to stitch! My other joy is butterflies - I often add one or two to my stitcheries.

Hi Jenny! I would have to say I would truly love to see a "Shabby Roses" design that included some Hummingbirds. They bring me so much joy in the mornings and evenings as we sit on the deck or even watch them through our glass doors. They got used to us this summer and would regularly come right over to us and hover in front of our faces for several minutes at a time whenever we were on the deck. Even going so far as to try landing on the rim of my glasses a few times. So, yup, it would be a hummingbird design for sure. But I also love Dragonflies, Ladiebugs, and Butterflies. I know you have done a few of those but I would love to see more. Big Hugs....

I love the colors you are using in this one. That tree immediately grabbed me! I love your inspirational pieces, but there's nothing you've ever done that I didn't like. I plan to use some of your inspirational frames to go around some quotable quotes from past church conferences to make a wall hanging. (Things like - We are to learn from the past, but not live in it, and Doubt your doubts, not your faith.) You have a teacup design somewhere that I thought would be so pretty done with different embroidery on each cup. I tend to be a theme kinda woman. =)

Yes, to all the previous comments! Ladybugs would be especially nice as that is one of my screen names, also I love your DaisyDays pattern...my little Doxie is Daisy LOL Do you have any plans to release your e-zine as a CD again? I love being able to pop it in the computer and browse away!! Takes up less space than a paper mag also, and won't get "lost" when the computer dies of old age. Just a thought, or maybe on a flash drive? My new laptop doesn't even have a CD/DVD drive...bummer. Have a great day!

Oh, my. Everything you do is beautiful,
but I must say I'm most drawn to words (Bible verses or inspirational sayings) and birds. Thanks for asking us!

Actually, I have a wonderful old inspirational poem for boys and ideas in my mind for embroidery to go with it, but fear my lack of drawing skills...maybe we should work together.

I do so much enjoy your work. I live on a farm so things time vintage tractors and other farm things. Cows Horses Goats Chickens Cats Dogs Wild animals. Lots of skunks and raccoon and birds of all kinds here. Everywhere I go I take tree pictures and flower pictures. Wild flowers and garden flowers.
I am a nurse and actually specialized in pediatric nursing so that kind of thing too. Hope this is not too much. I really liked your houses and already have them stitched out for a small quilt. So thank you for sharing them.

Jenny, your work is always so beautiful. I love everything that you do. My favorite thing is bears. I love anything that has a bear on it, especially when it is surrounded by flowers and butterflies. Have a great day!

Just printed my Christmas E-zine out and had it bound at Office Works for $4.50 with plastic covers on both sides. I printed the patterns out separately again to trace more easily. Just need a quite moment with a cuppa and I'm ready to read! I love florals.

I love houses, or decorative trees - both of which you have done...but more is always good
Seasons - Id love something that represents the season of Australia - so no snow and not necessarily people swimming at a beach. I have always wanted to do a scene that is the same but changes for each season - hard i know when there is so little difference in our seasons (compared to a lot of other places), but something to ponder....

There have been so many great suggestions. Mine is Halloween Witches but pretty and friendly witches with sweet little kittens and pumpkins and apples.

I love your stitcheries that include Bible verses. They make great gifts for friends needing encouragement from God's Word. Really appreciate all the work that goes into each of your projects and thank you for your sharing them with us!

Since I own a quilt shop, I tend to be drawn to designs with quilts or quilt squares in them. I also love all things tea related and know I'm not alone where designs with tea things are included. Designs from the '30s through '50s are also ones that I tend to be drawn to, especially cats and dogs with cute facial expressions. Overall, I love everything you design and only wish I had more time to indulge in stitching them all out.
