I asked you yesterday what block beginning with 'D' I would use these stitcheries in...
Nobody guessed it, so I'd better show you!
First, I cut the stitchery out in a circle, then I stitched red gingham bias around the outside...
I made 20, 4" Dresden fans from some delicious Denyse Schmidt fabric, and stitch them onto more DS fabric...
Then I tacked my 'family' stitchery onto the centre of the Dresden...
Just three more to go.
One more block the same, and two different.
Maybe after the weekend I'll be finished and can do the final reveal. ;-)
Do you remember a couple of months ago when I was quite privileged to stitch one of the blocks for Rosalie's newest quilt design?
With Rosalie's own fingers sewing non-stop on the blocks (there are 14 gorgeous blocks!), she also gave some blocks to Fee and Dawn to stitch.
Next came the piecing of those tiny one inch square borders around the blocks, and VOILA!

Rosalie has a giveaway on her blog right now for a full set of the BOM patterns, pre-printed on linen!
Now, I would REALLY love to win them myself, but I am feeling generous of heart today so I'm letting you in on the chance to win too.
Visit Rosalie's blog HERE to enter.
Information for purchasing the BOM can be found there as well.
Back to my stitching. It's going to rain all weekend, so lots of stitching I imagine.
What are YOU stitching at the moment??
